It gives me an immense pleasure, pride and satisfaction to highlight about the Pravabati College, Mayang Imphal, a Govt. Aided College situated at a distance of about 22 Km. from Imphal. As we all aware that education plays a vital role in the economic and human resource development of any country. Most importantly education in rural areas has to be focused on top priority because more than half of the population of our state- Manipur resides in rural areas holding the real hidden potential for a transformation. We usually feel that a transformation to be associated with infrastructural development, but it is education that holds the key to make a real peaceful world.
In the present scenario, everywhere there is problem of poverty, disorder in family, invasion on culture, mistrust, violence etc. If there is no quality education, there will be no peace and progress in the society.
In order to uplift the quality and paradigm of learning with modern technology, the Pravabati College, Mayang Imphal under the umbrella of the Governing Body with a mission of “Education for all”.

We, at Pravabati College, Mayang Imphal provide excellent infrastructure, competent faculty, lush green environment for learning and all other facilities required for modern education. The main aim of the Pravabati College, Mayang Imphal is to provide modern education in the field of arts, commerce, science & computer Technology to the youths. Although facing problems, we are trying our level best to fulfill the dream that our noble Founder of this College, (L) Shri Ch. Nimai Singh had been dreaming of.
